Geographers of the seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries recognized two great divisions of their discipline. These were ‘General’ or ‘Universal’ geography, which dealt with ‘the whole Earth in general, and explain[ed] its properties without regard to particular countries’

Thomas Bankes, Edward Warren Blake, and Alexander Cook's A New Royal Authentic and Complete System of Universal Geography (hereafter Thomas Bankes's). A massive folio volume of 990 double-columned pages, this was a popular work, running to six editions in the  years from 1775 to 1797Thomas Bankes: 18th century collector of maps and engravings and vicar of Dixton, Monmouthshire, whose New and Authentic System of Universal Geography (London, C. Cooke, ca. 1788-90) compiled views from various countries, including some detailing the voyages of Captain James Cook.
BALDWYN (GEORGE AUGUSTUS): A New, Royal, Authentic, Complete, and Universal System of Geography; or, a Modern History and Description of the Whole World... Descriptions of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America... including... the Late Discoveries in the South Seas, and towards the North Pole... Comprising every Interesting Discovery and Circumstance in the Narratives of Captain Cook's Voyages round the World, engraved frontispiece, 87 engraved plates and maps (11 folding, 3 with small loss),  folio, Alex Hogg, [c.1794]
Books were also later reprinted by the Same printer Alexander Hogg for various other journals as copywrite did not really exist at this time so many images can have various forms but within a very narrow time frame making exact attribution difficult
