    The Oxford Almanack, has been published by Oxford University Press since 1674. The Almanack, is one of a series of broadsides commissioned from the Oxford University Press whooriginally held the national monopoly on publishing almanacs. The engravings are a sequence done by brilliant engravers such as, Basire, Vertue and the Rookers and James Basire,to more recently Michael Burghers who used imagery ranging from the emblematic to the topographic.J.M.W.Turner's first employment was drawing the pictures for engraving Large folio (52 x 39cm)......Any print will be reserved upon receiving an email and kept for a week to allow a cheque to arrive...

Steel engraving, 230 x 361 mm; F. Mackenzie. del. W. Radclyffe. sculp."  The original sepia drawing, 277 x 488 mm, is deposited by the Delegates of the Press in the Ashmolean Museum.  This is in early colour mounted farmed etc ; £65  cut to image framed and glazed a scarcer almanack  sorry pic taken through glass mucky on the inside. .  so not underwater !
