Kurt Meyer Eberhardt is one of the most famous and revered artists of dogs and cats ever. He was born in 1895 in Leipzig, Germany and died in Munich in 1977. After having studied at the Weimar Academy of Arts, he moved to Munich in 1918.. At the Weimar Academy OF Fine art, where he had become A student under the artists Theodor Hagen and Lionel Feininger. He rejected A professorship at Weimar . In 1926 he held his last exhibition in the "New Secession."His work has been published by the Hanfstaengl Publishing Company in Munich, London and New York since 1917.  Sorry a personal favourite  artist normally just this side of Kitsch with some African pics as dark as Gustav Dore £225  inc delivery image 26  x 32.5 cm newish frame
