Collegii Regalis Sacelli Facies Occidentem Spectans /
King’s College Chapel
Copper engraving by David Loggan one of his much rarer
Cambridge engravings. In the year following the publication of 'Oxonia
Illustrata' Loggan was
in Cambridge printing Wren's design for the Library of Trinity. This
employment may have prompted him to turn his attention to
Cambridge.'Cantabrigia Illustrata' was definitely begun in 1678 or 1679
and generally believed to have been published in
1690Size Image 408 x 347 mm, Plate 350 x 450 mm, Page
435 x 355 mmCondition: Abrasion over tower image , overall age
toning but paper in good condition aged not crisped. This is
loose but on the original frame backboard with labels
etc .One to live with ie shows its age but not pristine £285 inc
